Goal (concept):

Modernization of technical and vocational education and training, human resource development, economic prosperity and upliftment of standard of living.

Purpose (aspiration):

Formulation of necessary policies and programmes, implementation of projects, setting of standards and monitoring and evaluation to ensure quality technical and vocational education and training.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION:

1. Improving access to quality technical and vocational education and training.

2. To establish the principle of equality and equity in all areas of technical and vocational education and training.

3. To create skilled human resources suitable for domestic and international labor market.

4. Its expansion including overall quality improvement at the graduate level in quality technical and vocational, business education and training.

5. Strengthening good governance in education system.

6. Preservation and nurturing of history, tradition and national culture rich in the spirit of the country's great independence war.

Essential Strategic Objectives:

1. Strengthening the implementation of annual performance agreements.

2. Improvement of working methods, work environment and services.

3. Development of financial and asset management.

4. Strengthening the implementation of National Privacy Strategy and Right to Information.
